The SCRIABIN SONATAS Reimagined, Part 2
Hard to believe. Our 6th project – our biggest release is out. This time we were a team of 20+ people in total, to create the performance and then the postproduction of the video. Planning the content, concepts, artistic, logistical, and organizational decisions, team building, schedule, travel arrangements, funding, bureaucracy, administration, [international] taxation, reports, communication with university offices, and video postproduction decision-making. Performing some hardest piano repertoire, dance improvisation, a light show, building installations, and spreading perfumes throughout the hall.
This year marks a decade since the start of creation of Intertwining Arts multi- and crossdisciplinary projects.
Over the years we have created 6 full-scope productions and performed in 5 European countries (unfortunately our U.S. performance could not happen due to the 2020 lockdown – otherwise it would also be 6).
The latest project involved five artistic genres: music, dance, light, installations, and scent. Simultaneously.
It was a very long way. It is impossible to count the people, who helped during all these years. So many. A huge hug to you all.
Some people have behaved differently. Very much so, if we can put it… gently. There is something we could say to those, but since this is a post of celebration, we don’t want to concentrate on this for the moment – however, you get the idea.
We have just released our final project in this format. There is nothing currently on the list for Intertwining Arts, which was never the case since 2014.
Today we are proudly closing off the project “The SCRIABIN SONATAS Reimagined, Part 2” and Intertwining Arts officially goes on hiatus. The last 10 years have been very vibrant, very mind-blowing, and very much needed to reach goals, to fulfill ambitions, to understand people, to discover new [more profound] ways of art-making, and of course - to close off some open personal issues.
A huge thank you goes to the entire team for making it come true.
It’s been four years of work just on this production alone.
We did it. And now we are incredibly happy to welcome you to join us in the celebration of this journey!
